Toyin Okunuga – Entrepreneur and Author of hush to Roar
Hi guys, this is Toyin Okunuga, founder of Hush to Roar and Author of the book Hush to Roar.
I have obtained certificates in – Childhood Adversity; Young People and their Mental Health; and Introduction to Cognitive Psychology.
I am currently studying a Masters degree in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at Kings College, London.
I created this course to help you get emotional and mental peace in just 70 days!
After struggling years of depression and anxiety from several childhood traumatic experiences, including sexual abuse from a tender age of 12, and not getting any medical help to sorting out what I call my “mental mess”. I knew I had to study the brain, my mind and invest in myself to become emotionally stable.
My urge to help others came from a deep sense of agency to myself, my children and to everyone who feels stuck in the past. It was even more pressing when I started to have several physical ailments and unexplained operations. I knew I had to share my story to stop the epidemic avoidable depressive symptoms, anxiety and acute stress.
I was astonished by the reviews I had from my readers of Hush to Roar, many saying it changed their life through my thorough explanation of different methodologies I adopted to get unstuck from emotional torture.
